Music of 2018

I think in 2018 I have listened to music the least. Mostly because instead of working in an open office plan I worked at home enjoying the silence and focus. Podcasts filled my commute time. Vinyl player replaced some quality time enjoying music at home.

The highlight of the year was two of my favorite musicians visiting Vilnius. I was lucky enough to enjoy their performances: Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Mac DeMarco. Delightful surprises were Moses Sumney and Laurie Anderson performances in Vilnius.

I felt like I have spent 2018 rediscovering forgotten albums and artists. However, top songs of 2018 do not capture that. It's more of a reflection of well-known artists bringing nice updates to their discography.
